Today's Passage: Acts 27

Here, something beautiful occurs: Paul being comforted by an angel of God, administers that comfort to those among the ship who did not deserve it. They had disregarded the instruction of Paul when he told them not to voyage any further thus putting everyone in danger. However, Paul found the peace and hope of knowing that he was in the hands of God. So while walking in the love of Christ, he shared it by urging them to care of themselves (Acts 27:33-36). This was an encouragement to them it says! By Paul just simply showing that he cared for them and that God cared for them, they were encouraged!

So, let us be like Paul who walked like Christ. Let us be an encouragement to those around us who maybe we don't want to. Let us turn our hearts toward the purposes of the Most High God and lose ourselves in the process. For there is no greater purpose than to serve at His feet.
