Today's Passage: Psalm 92-93

Unsearchable are the ways of the Lord and His thoughts travel deeper than our comprehension. We stand dumbstruck when we look upon the wicked succeeding and the righteous enduring hardships. "Why would God allow this?," we ask. Psalm 92 describes the wicked as the flourishing grass doomed for destruction and the righteous as a strong cedar tree from lebanon, a tree who thrives and bears fruit even in old age. We see that even though the wicked do well, their time is short and their destruction soon but the righteous, by the grace of our Lord, endure and prosper. The Lord is good to those who seek after Him. He gives us eternity spent with the one we love where we will soon see the fullness of Him revealed.

Our God is faithful to His beloved and when we recognize this, praise should burst forth from our lips. Reading Psalm 93, we see the strength of character and the majesty of our God. He is worthy of our praise. So, whether in prayer, song, writing, or just word of mouth, praise the God of unsearchable mysteries and goodness overflowing.
