Today's Passage:  Acts 9

There are certain events that change the course of history.  A speech by Martin Luther King, an assassination of president Kennedy, the breaking down of a wall dividing nations, and the nailing of the 95 theses are some of those events.  While each of the previously mentioned events may have a special meaning to you, few is any are comparable to the significance of the story we read in Acts 9.  It is here where a popular, well educated man went from being a murder to being a preacher!

Because of this specific moment when God wanted to do a work in the heart of Saul (later Paul), we have a significant portion of the New Testament.  Not only was the happening monumental for the people in that day, but it stands as one of the most important days in all of church history.

As we look at the documentation of Saul's conversion, it would be unprofitable for us not to look inwardly concerning our own conversion.  Today spend some time thinking about the day you accepted the grace of God and his forgiveness of your sins.  How have you changed because of that day?  If so, perhaps you could even write down your thoughts or tell someone about it if the opportunity arises.
