Today's Passage: Revelation 12
There are those of us that would seem to run towards a fight to support our cause, and there are those of us who would rather "pick flowers than pick a fight". If we are believers, we pursue peace with our brothers and sisters, but we cannot avoid the war of the ages.
While all of Scripture is powerful, Revelation 12:11 stands out as among those that encapsulates the Christian experience: "And they overcame him [the Devil] by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death."
The miracle of your salvation is the word of your testimony and a powerful weapon that defeats Satan eternally. It is this weapon he seeks to diminish and destroy every day to try and thwart the purposes of God.
We can rejoice (Revelation 12:12) because we know that with all his rage, he is doomed and we are sealed to victory. How much easier is it to fight knowing you will win?
When the personal fight becomes difficult, remember you do not fight alone and you're already on the winning side.
