Today's Passage:  Song of Solomon 1-3

What does the relationship between God and His people look like?  Song of Solomon is a great description for that relationship.  While there are numerous thoughts about what this unique piece of Scripture is about, it is certainly an encouraging look at how God loves His people.  Did you notice the descriptive and romantic language in these 3 chapters?  I hope so because it is here that we see the romance between God and his people.

God not only loves us, but He desires us to come to relationship with Him.  He pursues us with a fervent passion.  This old chapter is just as relevant today as it was when it was written.  How is your relationship with God?  Are you clearly aware of how much He loves you?  Our relationship with God is absolutely the most important thing in our entire life.  Because of this we should worship and love God to the best of our ability.
