Today's Passage: Proverbs 20-21

 When going somewhere new do you prefer a map or written directions? I love Google Maps and Google Earth!  For those of you who are not familiar with it, it takes you down to street level. This program gives me unlimited perspective on where I am going.  It's been a huge help in planning an upcoming trip to Houston.  I now know what exits to take off the highway, what the buildings look like, and what the surrounding intersections look like.

This is a tiny example of the perspective God has on our lives.  He sees it all: beginning to end and in the smallest detail.  However, He does something that no map or satellite could do.  He sees the motivations, the very thoughts we have before taking a step.  "All a man's ways seem right to him, but the Lord weighs the heart." (21:2)  O how vital it is that we seek Him and His wisdom for our lives!
