Today's Passage: Matthew 27

What if Judas got a grip of his remorse (vs. 3)?  What if he did not commit suicide? What if he stuck around long enough to see the torture and the crucifixion?  He might have been convicted and repented, even reinstated into service with the other disciples.  There is always opportunity for redemption!  If the men who crucified Jesus were converted later in Acts, then redemption was possible for Judas-- if the centurion, who professed, "...surely this was the Son of God..."  converted, then Judas could have also.

Do you know a Judas?  a person who is a prisoner of their own remorse?  Do you know anyone who is "hanging" themselves with pornography, alcohol, immorality, or guilt over past mistakes?  Too many times we allow ourselves to think, "Oh--I'm just too far gone"  Some of us may be resigned to something as simple as apathy or indifference, or a bad day.  In this life, it is never too late to be reconciled to Christ!
