Today's passage: John 16

Do you have a best friend?  Some one that you go to for EVERYTHING?  Someone that you can trust to be honest with you-- even when the truth hurts-- like when you're wrong?  If you do, this is maybe the most important person in your life.

What about the Holy Spirit?  Do you realize that He is more than everything listed above?  Jesus said that He will go and send the Helper.  The Holy Spirit is the one who convicts us of sin, who comforts us when we're hurting, who guides us and directs in EVERY part of our lives.  Is the Helper your best friend this morning?
