Today's Passage:  Acts 7

Imagine with me, if you will, that you are in a modern-day version of Stephen's story in Acts 7.  You are standing in a courtroom, people staring at you, waiting for the charges to be read, "This person believes that Jesus Christ is the way to heaven."  The judge looks down at you from the bench and says, "Are these charges true?"

What would your answer be...and how would you tell that answer?  What story or stories would you be able to tell that would defend and proclaim your belief in Christ?  Would you tell stories from scripture, as Stephen did?  Would you tell personal stories of what God has done in your life?  Would you boldly speak the truth, even if it meant directly confronting those accusing you?

Every day the world looks at us, wanting to know if the truth of Jesus is really true.  They see not only by our words, but by the story of our lives, if Jesus truly has changed us.  We have the chance to boldly proclaim the truth that Jesus Christ is Lord!
