Today's Passage:  2 Corinthians 3

This passage references the story from Exodus 34, where the face of Moses shined so brightly after talking with God that he had to keep it covered when he spoke to the Israelites.  Paul is making the point that we have no need for the veil in our day...because we have the glory of Christ inside of us, we should make every effort to let it shine to anyone and everyone around us.  Because He has made us new...because the Spirit of life lives in us...we have a surpassing glory that is ever-increasing as we are transformed to be more like Him.  The Spirit of the Lord brings freedom...and that freedom should be evident in our daily lives.

What are you doing to let the glory of the Lord shine into those around you?  Are you being patient and kind to those who bring you trouble?  Are you sharing the reason for the hope you have in Christ?  Are you spending time in the Word and in prayer so that you are being renewed each day?  Why would we hide the hope that we have when we could be telling, showing and glorifying God each day!
